I talk a lot on this blog about the horses we are involved with in La Borne. I think it's time I explained clearly which horse belongs to whom.



In the lowest field we have BRONZE, a splendid Akhal-Teke. He is a 20 year old stallion, bred in Russia, and belongs to Ingeborg.



In a nearby field, lives LIBERTÉ, Laurent's mare, of mixed breed including Heavy Horse. Adorable!



JOY, Ingeborg's mare, three quarters Arab, one quarter Selle Française, mother of Uhlyara.



This is UHLYARA, now six months old. She'll be back in La Borne in the spring.



OGIVE, who is staying with us until her own foal is born next year, is a fabulous Arab. So beautiful - and she knows it! She belongs to Stéphanie and Martial who own stables at Crézancy.



SIENNA is Hugh's mare, an English Thoroughbred with a will of her own and slightly pigeon toes - in spite of which we love her!
